Hi, I'm generating a csv file from an open hub in BW so I need to convert it into a xlsx one due to I need to upload it into the Microsoft SharePoint. Is there an abap function that does it? I know that there is one to convert an xls one into a csv. Thanks

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Just open the csv in Excel 2007 and save as xlsx. Pretty simple! If you are on an older version of Office you will need to download the compatibility patch from Microsoft. You can find that download and more detailed information on it here.

You don’t need to do more efforts just follow given below steps:

    1. Open your CSV File
    2. Click on File icon
    3. Click the “save as”
    4. Provide location where you want to save xlsx file
    5. Select “Excel Workbook” from save as type
    6. Finally click save button.

In this method you can save your CSV file as XLSX format without losing data  :)
