i guess you need to tell us if the pc itself is running the sql server or not..

i guess with more information like how u going to connect will be easier for us to explain the steps

I’m pretty sure he’s looking for sample code to connect an application to a database. If this is the case we’ll need to know what language you are writing the application in so we can point you in the right direction.

You need to install sql server 2005 first in your system, the installation steps are very easy and user friendly. If you want to execute sql queries no need to write any code to detect. If you face any problem in the installation then revert to this answer, I will be helpful.
