How to configure Exchange Server to join Windows SBS

Hi, As far as I understand, Windows SBS should be at the top node in an organization. Currently, there is already an exchange server in place with its domain. New Windows SBS will be implemented. How can I ensure that Windows SBS will be on the top node and the Exchange server domain is running as it is? Any idea where I can get more reference? Thank you.

What are you going to do with the Exchange license that comes with SBS Server? If you only need one exchange server in total then I would migrate the existing exchange data onto your new sbs box. The licensing restrictions are a bit more restrictive than you state. SBS cannot trust another domain, and the SBS licence only covers applications installed on one physical server – so you can’t have exchange on a separate box and have it covered by the SBS license.
I do not know if SBS prevents separately license exchange servers within the same domain (ie on member servers) but I can foresee all sorts of nasty routing issues.
