Hello,

Exchange dosen’t support a built-in disclaimer feature in either Exchange 2000 or 2003. Your best bet would be to shop around for a third party solution. I am in the process of testing a product called GFI MailEssentials which makes this task very easy. You can try this out or simply do a Google search for disclaimers and Exchange and you’ll find many other products to choose from.

Good Luck

We use Exchange 5.5 and there is a tool to add a disclaimer called the Internet Mail Service Extension DLL in the Resource kit. I don't know if it works with 2000 but you could check it out as it was free and for us did what we needed. I believe it was basically a registry entry that allowed RTF formatting. Go here for more info. http://www.slipstick.com/addins/content_control.htm Scroll down to the Internet Mail Service Extension DLL entry and it has a description and some links. If you manage an Exchange server get to know slipstick.com, it's an awesome resource. Good luck. WEndy
