How to collapse data in a Pivot Table in Excel 2007?

I created a Pivot Table and its giving me a description with the different codes that fall under each I want to collapse all the descriptions so that the codes under each disappear and are summed up within each description I can do them one at a time but I have some many lines to collapse.

1. Right-click the category label or the data series
2. On item in the column label of a PivotTable report or series in a PivotChart report, do one of the following: Click the expand / collapse
Right-click item, select Expand/Collapse, and then do one of the following:
To collapse details for the current item, click Collapse
To collapse details for the current item, click Collapse Entire Field
To collapse to level of detail beyond the next level, click Collapse To <fieldname>
