How to check the TP link switch

I had TP link switch of 5 port, but when I connect the ethernet from moderm to port 1 and two others computer in port 2 and 3, only 1 computer which turn on first can access to the Ethernet the other said no enthernet connection. Any one can help me how to test whether the switch broken or the moderm not function properly?

Can you try to login to the switch and check the status of the ports, are they in shutdown state, try make sure the cables used by port no 2 and 3 are in working conditions.

I did has a TP link switch with similar problems, the only option was to restart the switch as TP link won’t provide much management options to the switch.

You may need to considering replace the TP link switch.

    I guess you will need to check your modem if you have already set DHCP and how many IP's that you have already allocated for DHCP. maybe try allocating about 10 IP's and any 10pc's that is connected to the switch will get the IP from the modem Next as for your PC, make sure the DHCP client is started and automatic.... if you have check the above, please do check the switch..if it is faulty, maybe try getting a dlink switch..
