 How to check McAfee virus is installed on all Network computer

I want to write a script or VB program to find out if all the computers has McAfee installed and has newer dat file. As we add more computers or remove them from network, I want to run this script every night and generate the log file to find out if all the computers have McAfee installed. Any help will be appreciated.

Have you considered uninstalling MacAfee and using another brand? Personally, I refuse to run anything with their brand on it. Yep….bad experience…plus have followed the history of this outfit and have sworn them off.

Trying having a security suite…..file watcher appends file…after a month the virus scanner thinks the file watcher is a virus and locks down entire HD….you can boot to desktop and sit there. MacAfee suite…they have no solution….reformat….oh yeh….

Have you thought of uninstalling MacAfee?
