 How to change fields from one type to another type in display file
AS/400, AS/400 Fields
I created one display file and declare numeric field as output i.e +6(10).please tell me how to change that field from output to input&output i.e +9(10).

Edit the display file .. change the use for this field to ‘B’ and the width to 9.

You can get entry edit help by pointing at line and pressing F4 for prompt.

When in prompt mode you can get help on any field by pointing at it and pressing F1 or a prompt for that field by pointing at it and pressing F4
