Hi,

If you have V5R4 you can use the SAVOBJ command to save spooled data, otherwise you may be able to use BRMS to save spooled data.

    BRMS will do it - at least under V5R3 - not sure about earlier versions. Go BRMBKUPLN (Backup Planning menu) Use option #5 (Work with backup lists) and create a list with USE = *BKU and TYPE = *SPL. You can specify spooled files by out queue, user, file, job and USRDTA. Use option #2 (Work with control groups) and add the list you created to the backup control group you use. Specify the list by the name you gave it with TYPE = *SPL Regards Mike
