There must be a way to modify the dictionary in the server to add correctly spelled word for Outlook Web Access spell checker. Is the format of the dictionary file used by OWA available?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

According to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825430 adding additional words or modifying the dictionary is not supported.

I found a 3rd party app that can make it happen here:

Provides server-based spell checking for OWA 5.5 and 2000
Extends OWA 2003 server-based spell checking capabilities
to both PC and Mac platforms,IE 6 and non-IE6 browsers.

Offers custom dictionary capabilities and no client-side installation. Supports multiple languages and automatic “Check on Send”.

Apparently a 3rd party solution is the only option. In the version of OWA that is included in Exchange 2003, the spelling checker in OWA is a server-side process, and it doesn't appear that anyone has ever found a proper way to make these changes without bringing in a software solution.
