Hi,

It is not clear what you need. Is a common subctrl/subfile scenario? what its means “repeat function key” ? do you want page movements or search for something within the subfile?

Please, let us know more about your program needs.

...i need to use repeat function key F13... What would a "repeat" function do? Do you mean "duplicate"? Tom

Ah! ...or do you mean F13=Repeat like PDM and some other system displays do? PDM, as an example, isn't using DSPF display files. It uses UIM panel groups with list areas. However, if you're wanting F13=Repeat to work the same in a DSPF subfile, you simply write the programming that tests to see if a value was entered followed by F13, then re-write all subfile records after the current one. Put the same value in those records before you re-write them and set SFLNXTCHG for each subfile record you change. When you redisplay the subfile, the option should show in each subsequent subfile record. And because you set SFLNXTCHG for all of those, you'll get the option value when you read each of them back in again. Tom

You might consider processing your editing logic before returning the display.
