I'm looking to interface RPGLE with String.format which would take variable length arguments or an array. If it's possible, I would also like to pass numbers as well as strings, so I'm thinking the format is like this:
"hello %s, you are %d years old"
How should I prototype this in RPGLE?

Since String.format isn't a RPG function, it's hard to say how you should prototype it. I can think of a couple ways that your suggested format string could be handled in RPG, but you seem to have some other language in mind. Can you give a little more detail about what you actually want to accomplish? What exactly does it have to do with RPG? -- Tom
