I'm working on a document with many runs of computer code. In the text, I want my
quotation marks to be curly, which means that Word's "smart quotes"
autoformatting-as-I-type feature is the one I want to use. However, in the setting
for code, smart quotes don’t automatically come up, so I want smart quotes disabled.
Is there a fast way to toggle this setting or is there a way to get this to
work using style by paragraph?
To get this to function correctly, I’m manually toggling the following:
quotes" with "smart quotes">OK>OK,
This is seven actions for every set of quotes, which is just way to much
unproductive work. There must be an easier
way to do this; possibly by keyboard shortcuts.
