It's limited by the size of the 'rules quota' on your exchange server
exchange 2003 max 32kb
exchange 2007 default is 64kb, max is 256kb - Don't remember if you need a service pack for the 256kb
I think the default for exchange 2010 is 64k and max is still 256kb

If you live outside the United States, by submitting your email address you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
Actually, this appears not to be related to the Exchange 2007 default. Is there a SW limitation on the Outlook 2007 app that prevents, say over 100 rules to be activated? If so, is the limit related to the number of Email accounts for the Outlook app on a specific workstation? Could the limit be related to disk size? I know that very large .pst files have a tendency to slow down or corrupt Outlook, but can the number of active rules exacerbate this situation?
