SQL Server Datacenter Edition can support up to 256 logical processors when deployed on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Standard Edition can support 4 physical CPUs, and Enterprise can support 8 Physical processors.

Workgroup Edition can support 2 physical CPUs, and SQL Express can support 1 physical CPUs.

    hi, I have sql server Stander 2008 R2,on web server,my most of client faced the issue with slow speed,some time time out,,if i goes to check the processor graph,it hits maximum 11 GB ram,and processor gets 90%,can some one suggest what i have to do fro the same. Thanks
