The ESX server has a virtual switch network built in. Once you connect the host server to the network and there is a DHCP server available, your virtual machines will pick up the DHCP address from your DHCP server.

is there a bridge network bond that need to be created between virtual network and the physical NIC card on the vm esx host to allow it to receive DHCP IP Address.
