 how IM can be deploy in exhange 2003
Exchange 2003, Exchange Instant Messaging, Exchange Server 2003 to Exchange Server 2007 Upgrade, Instant Messaging
Hi I am planning to remove 2000 and want to have 2003 exchange but i want to use the IM 5.1 in exchange can it be possible and if yes how. Biest

Exchange 2003 does not support IM 5.1 If you want to continue to use this feature you must keep an exchange 2000 server in your environment. No way around it. But it will work that way, we are still using IM 5.1. Keep in mind it is an end of life product no longer supported by Microsoft. You may instead want to look at Live Communication Server, but it is not a free product like IM 5.1
