Is this a decommissioned system? If so, lift the little blue handle and pull. If the system is active, I would suggest that you IPL to DST and take the option to Remove disk from ASP. If the number of disk you remove doesn't leave you enough space for the data on the system the remove will fail and you may crash your system and have to reload.
