How i create a view like below

HI,

      I have to create the view for below need

The client (ARIES) asks for a list of all of the employees who requested leaves including 22/12/2011 and 23/12/2011The client (ARIES) asks for a list of all of the employees who requested leaves including 22/12/2011 and 23/12/2011

could you please give a leave for the above specification

my question : how i give the date part? i mean how i get a leave request for that particaular date?

I don’t understand your question , but I assume you need to select some documents with a date a paramater in the view selection?
You can create a date-variable lik this in the selection formaula of the view :

X := [23/12/2011];

So you can test like this (assuming leaveDate is a date on the document ) :

leaveDate <= X;

or

leaveDate <= X;

Your view selcetion formula should be appended with the date condition.

select form..ur condition and @Created>=@Date(2011;12;22) & @Created<=@Date(2011;12;23)

    i add this condition as per u mention @Created>=@Date(2011;12;22) & @Created<=@Date(2011;12;23)but it does't fetch any documents...could u plz look into that.......anyway thanks fr ur help

    hi... and doubt...D_ZYAGDATDEB >= "22/12/2011 " & D_ZYAGDATDEB <= "23/12/2011" datdeb and datfin contain start leave date and end leave date.....so while i add this in my condition it should fetch all details...(i mean who are employee apply leave on those days)

    But it would be best to not create a view that is hard-coded to a narrow date range. Just be sure the database is indexed, and run a search for the desired dates.
