 How do you change the source of printer when printing from AS400
AS400 printing issue
Hello all, we get regular requests to get AS400 prints from a specific tray. I know we can do from wrkdevd, but how does it work from a SPLF perspective. to reach only specific tray in the file

From the wrksplf or wrkoutq screens select option 2 - change
Change Drawer

This can also be done after the spool file is created with the CHGSPLFA
or in the job stream before the file is created with the OVRPRTF command.

You can also specify the drawer in the printer file definition (I don’t recommend doing this to system-supplied printer files).
