I have the following scenario: - System AS400 running on V4R5 - An Okidata printer connected to a D-Link print server via USB - A D-Link print server which running TCP/IP on the network I'm able to ping and connect to the D-link print server. I can connect the printer via a remote out queue but I want to configure the this printer as a local printer device on the AS400 thru TCP/IP. So far I haven't been able to set it up properly. I have not been able to get the right configuration for the printer. So, if anyone has any information as to how to set up these devices on the AS400 it would be greatly appreciated if you can provided me with some information. Thank you in advanced.

WM, Anytime I have to add a TCP/IP printer, I use IBM's tech document 22393632 . (http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.nsf/3cdf5d853ca698198625680b00020369/455975a3bf2ac71e862569f9006ba227?OpenDocument&Highlight=0,*lan,device) There are multiple links to other documents, so take your time and read carefully, but I've been able to successfully connect any TCP/IP printer by reviewing this document and the documents it refers to.
