I too agree with the suggestion given by Sumeshbnr. According to me use of third party tool is the easiest and the fastest method to reset administrator password. In past, I have also used password recovery tool (I guess it was Stellar Phoenix Password Recovery) to successfully reset administrative password of my PC.

try Active@ Password Changer . it will reset your admin password. you need to boot your pc with Active@ Password Changer bootable cd & go through instractions.
