Windows 7
I recently downloaded a game maker hoping to make a fan game with it, but the maker was in the MFA extension. I did a bit of research and found, if I am correct, that Windows 7 should automatically be able to execute this file. Unfortunately, that is no the case for me, so I did a bit more research and downloaded multiple programs to try and resolve the issue, such as fileviewerpro, and filecure. These have not helped in the slightest either, so I am asking of someone here could shed some light on this issue. Thanks in advance!

Assuming that this is a valid game-maker file, then you'll need to download and install the appropriate ClickTeam Games Factory product if you want to use the file.

Many programs can "open" the file, including Windows Notepad. But "opening" a file is usually pretty useless. You need a program that not opens opens the file, but that also knows what to do with it. Buy the appropriate product, install it and things will probably work.
