How do I import 10.2 dmp file into 9.2 database

Oracle, Oracle Database Versions, Oracle import/export

I have an Oracle 10.2.0.2 dmp file from another site. I need to import the data into a 9.2.0.6 database on hp-ux 11.11. I cannot modify the xport file nor do I have a 10.2 database to import into, but I do have the 10.2 software. Is there any way to import the 10.2 dmp file into a 9.2 database? please help.

All. via MetaLink, I found DocId Note:132904.1 which is a compatibility matrix for exp/imp between versions. I cannot directly import a 10.2 dmp file into a 9.2 database, no matter how badly I need to. So, I will have to find another path to follow. I hope to find enough space to setup a temporary 10.2 database, import the data, then export the data using the 9.2 export facility, and finally import that data into the 9.2 database. That seems to be my simplest option since I have no direct access to the original data source.
