Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If you Google “whois”, you will see several sites that provide this information via a Web UI. You enter the domain name, and it returns the public information from the registrar’s WhoIs database. This might include the domain servers, which should reveal the hosting provider.

ISP is for the accessor who is trying to access a particular website. so if there are 10 persons from different locations of world trying to access say techtarget.com, the ISP for all the 10 will be different depending on their geographical location. for a website/domain there is hosting and probably your correct question could be – “how to find out the hosting service provider for a website/domain?” if that is the what you wanted to know, the above reply will satisfy your quest.

Whois can provide good information, as members have pointed out above. Here's another website I've used on occasion, called Who is hosting this? It's a handy website to bookmark along with your favorite Whois tool. It can be helpful, especially with smaller websites.
