I’m probably wording this incorrectly, but we have the Microsoft SBS 2007 console and I did not find “Hide from Exchange address lists” check box in the General tab when I opened a user’s properties. I also opened the Active Directory and looked through the user’s properties that way, but still no check box. I’m not sure what else to do?

Sorry, but I am entirely unfamiliar with SBS 2007. I understand it uses Exchange 2007, but I know nothing about the interfaces. Is there not an Exchange Management Console for Exchange tasks? ADUC will not have the Exchange tabs like it did in 2003.

In SBS 2003 you should be able to make this change as shown in the ADUC under the Exchange Advanced Tab as shown in figure below.

I forgot to add that Microsoft Small Business Server version jumps from 2003 to 2008. I do not believe there is a SBS 2007. There is a Microsoft Office 2007 for SBS which you may be using but this is on the client side. Your Users are managed on your Exchange Server which is installed on either 2003 or 2008 Server. If you have a 2003 SBS then chances are you are running Exchange 2003 for SBS. You could also be using Exchange 2007 for SBS however Exchange 2007 would be installed on a 2003 SBS or 2008 SBS Server platform.
So the question is… What version of Exchange are you using?

Your are right, I checked and we are using SBS 2008. Thanks for the photo shot below, but the user properties did not have the Exchange Advanced tab? IS there another way I can hide a user?
