 How do I find the port used by Visual Composer in NetWeaver CE 7.1
I have NetWeaver CE 7.1 installed, with additional components. I am trying to start up Visual Composer, but do not know which port it is using. How do I find the default port being utilized by Visual Composer?

Active Ports from <a href="http://www.devicelock.com/freeware.html">DeviceLock</a> will help with this. Another option is <a href="http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx">tcpview</a> from Sysinternals (Microsoft). Also, if you know the name or ip of the device you are connecting to you can use <b>netstat </b>and look in the foreign address field for the host you are connecting to with the application. =========added by Labnuke99========== The issue with netstat is that it does not show what application is using a particular port. tcpview is a good tool for this purpose in that it shows the service or program and what port(s) it uses. =========added by Gapesp======== Thanks, I was able to determine that the port utilized by Visual Composer is the same port utililized by the Java Application Server. I prefer tcpview over Active Ports. Thanks again for the help.
