 How do i find a processor model of an iSeries
Hi, How do i find the Processor model of an iSeries. I know the Processor feature code of the iSeries we have is 7418. And the system is an 825 model. How do i determine that?Thanks in advance

You need to refer to the System Builder redbook for that system to find that processor model number that corresponds to the model 825 and processor feature 7418. Most of the time the software vendor is asking for the model 825 and processor feature code 7418 and they can look up the processor model number. But it can only be found in the System Builder redbook. This being a Power 4 processor machine, you might have to look an an earlier version of the redbook. Look for rebooks on the IBM website.
