Have exchange 2K server and one Exchange 2K7 server. When I have a user that has a mailbox on the Exchange 2K server, and tries to OWA URL link to the new 2K7 server, he gets promted for user name and password. Upon logging in the user is redirected to the Exchange 2K server prompting the user for name and password, and when the user enters the name and password the second time, he gets to his mailbox. I believe IIS is causing a login for each web site that the user is directed to. Any way to simoplify the OWA double logon to one logon still using the link to the new 2K7 server? Paul

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Check the screen shots on <a href=”http://www.systemadminihater.com/windows-server-2003/exchange-2007-owa-makes-you-login-twice/”>this web page</a>. See if that resolves your issue.

When you say url, the user is actually typing this in the address bar or is the user using a favorite or short cut to get to the first initial login screen for OWA? If they are using a short cut, the short cut or favorite is probably not pointing to the correct exchange store for this users mailbox, create a new favorite or shortcut to the correct store and this should solve the problem. I hope this helps you out. And if you already tried this and it did not work sorry to waste your time.
