Currently, I’m running SQL Server 2012 with Visual Studio Beta 11 as well as SQL Server 2008 R2 version of the .mdf file because the staging server uses R2. I’ll be moving up to SQL Azure for a project I’m working on. What is the best way to port files over? Do I actually need to make changes to the files in the DB structure of the SQL Server 2012? Will I also need to convert the R2 .mdf files to keep it all in sync?
