how do I cause a field to be null, using DFU to update/insert a record?

I’m not aware of any way to use DFU to generate null database values. You need to use either a program or an SQL interface. Tom

If you had a logical file that did not include that field, and used DFU to insert to that file, would it come out as null????   Not a DFU user, so just making a guess here.
