I have a Linksys WRVS4400N for my home office and it works great for inside the house. I also have a gazebo about 120 ft away from the router that I like to sit out on in nice weather to work. I get very low reception out there (1/2 bar) and would like to boost that. Will a WAP4400N accomplish that without more wires/cables? If not, how can I do this wirelessly? I set up my own network easily, but I ant to make sure what I need can be done before I spend a lot of time and money on it. All help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Karen

You could also:
1. Replace your antenna.
2. Connect directly to your linksys and see if you can adjust the transmit power.
3. Purchase a repeater
4. For the brazen and willing to buy into the possibility, risk making a cantenna.
Good luck
also, if you don’t need 360 deg coverage from the router, (say it is in one corner of the house) you can get antennas that brodcast in a specific direction(s) by concentrating the power that would have gone in all directions, you can increase the range in the desired direction
