How do I Autopopulate a few field on my my form?

I have a database created in Access 07 and in this database I have tables, forms and reports. I have a table where I have all the Plan info and I also have a table into where the info is stored after being entered on the form. On my form I have a plan number, plan name what I want to happen is when I enter the Plan Number I would like for the Plan Name to automatically fill that goes with that plan number that I entered.

in MS Access you should have some field types that can be lookup fields so you can:

  1. Choose appropriate lookups
  2. Write some VBA that, at the change of a value of a component, perform queries and fill up other fields.
