how do i access the physical hardisk from the virtual machin
if i given some part to the virtual machin & then i want to access the physical partition from the virtual machin what will be the procidure for that.

I think it will depend on what virtualization software are you using.
I think most of the machine virtualization tools have a "shared folders" feature, which you can use to share part of your physical disk between the host and the guest computers.
In microsoft virtual pc, the shared folders feature will be available after you install the Virtual Machine additions.
