Its quicker if you just look in the CLLE reference manual. - Best manuals in the business are IBM. use the links Phil gave you Yorkshireman.

Pgm DCL VAR(&EOF) TYPE(*LGL) DCLF FILE(RSTFILE1) OPNID(RSTLIST1) DCLF FILE(RSTFILE2) OPNID(RSTLIST2) CHGVAR &EOF '0' DOUNTIL COND(&EOF) RCVF OPNID(RSTLIST1) MONMSG MSGID(CPF0864) EXEC(DO) CHGVAR VAR(&EOF) VALUE('1') ITERATE ENDDO Do your code here for the first file here Enddo CHGVAR &EOF '0' DOUNTIL COND(&EOF) RCVF OPNID(RSTLIST2) MONMSG MSGID(CPF0864) EXEC(DO) CHGVAR VAR(&EOF) VALUE('1') ITERATE ENDDO Do your code here for the second file here Enddo Also note that you can not reset the file for processing again in the CL program. Once opened you can not do a position to once you have reached the end of file. Even if you open and close it again. Program has to end and be called again to process it again and again. This is a known IBM issue... Thanks Ron
