This is an interesting question. Microsoft Access is not an enterprise database solution; it is really intended for small stand alone databases and rapid application development. Therefore, depending on your requirements, it may not be the right solution. You may want to look at Microsoft SQL Server instead.

Access is an application development tool and is in no way a replacement for an Oracle DBMS. To get a better answer I think you need to give a lot more explanation about what you are trying to achieve.

Have you considered that you can link an Oracle database to Access via ODBC so that Access could be used as a front end to the Oracle database?
