For work with Outlook files,use next application-<a href="http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/ost_to_pst_converter.html">ost converter</a>,
was developed to effectively convert your mailbox from *.ost to *.pst format, allows to process either undamaged files or corrupted ones, you can face a necessity to convert *.ost file, stored on your PC, to a *.pst file in many cases, please note, that *.ost file is a complex object, its size may exceed several gigabytes and it is stored in encrypted format. In this case, it is also possible, that *.ost file becomes corrupted due to viruses, HDD damage or any other hostile actions.

You can also select Import/Export from your file menu inside Outlook. Export to a PST file and save it to your computer in a location you can easily find. Next, setup your new email account and make sure it's working. Select Import/Export again and this time, Import from a PST file. Use the file you exported to and it should import everything into the new email account.

This also works if you are changing from one Exchange account to another, export to PST, setup new exchange and import it back. I do this often at the company I work for.
