 How can I tell who owns what IP addresses?
Firewalls, IP Address Allocation, IP address management, IP Addresses, SonicWALL Pro 3060, Windows Server 2008
Is there a method to tell who owns what IP addresses? I would like to know who owns a IP range that keeps showing up in my firewall logs. Can I pin point it to a company or just to the ISP like I am doing currently?

This can be found out using a whois query or going to <a href="http://www.myiptest.com/staticpages/index.php/IP-Lookup">http://www.myiptest.com/staticpages/index.php/IP-Lookup</a>. You may need to go to the ISP with some logs to show what is happening to ask them to divulge more information.
