If you have a home network, you should be able to share your printer through the computer it is connected to. So many things (like detailed instructions) would depend on your specific information. What operating system are you using, what type of printer, etc etc

AndreaF has the answer to one side of the question (see #1 below). There are basically two printer connections: 1) Thru a PC that is directly attached to the printer. (ex. Serial or USB connections) 2) Network printers that are connected via TCP/IP - the network. The answer to #2 is very similar. PC Operating System dependent.

Yes I use three types of windows and my printer is connected to a computer. All computers are connected to Internet by a switch. Is it possible to connect printer to switch directly ? However i am gonna make a direct connection of two computers that i use more. with this i am trying to decrease printer network interest.

if your printer is a network printer has a network port and if you can set an IP on it means it a network printer... anyway for example if you want to share your printer, your pc IP will need to be static. then right click your printer and share it then from your other pc laptop use this method to accept the printer which is 1. Run 2. \ PC IP address 3. Enter 4. Right Click on the printer and connect to it.
