are you only sharing on your local LAN or across the router to the internet? If you are sharing across the internet then it will be pretty slow because your internet connection will be the bottleneck. If you are sharing locally but across the wireless then you have the same issue but will be slightly faster than the internet connection. The wireless will be mich slower than the wired network because of the slower speed of the wireless.

so thats mean i have to stop the internet and share my files but i tried to share files in my friend home he is using tp-link and it was working and very fast so is this about the router (3com ) or what ??

were you sharing across his wireless? It would depend on that plus the speed of his wireless and yours.

You should be able to do all three at one. However, it’s the speed of the three types of connections that will limit how quickly things go.

Think of it as if you were filling up a swiming pool. Your wired network os a firehose, the Wireless (depending on the version) is a garden hose, the DSL line is a drinking straw, and a modem would be a shot glass.

Obviously, the Wired network is going to fill up faster than trying to fill up the pool with a garden gose, but not a slow as if you were using a a shot glass.
