How can I set up email forwarding from Outlook 2007 to a BlackBerry?

Microsoft Outlook 2007, Outlook Web Access, OWA, BlackBerry Devices, BlackBerry Internet Service, Email forwarding, Outlook, Outlook 2007, BlackBerry

I would like to forward email that comes into my Hotmail account from Microsoft Outlook 2007 to my BlackBerry 8830 WE device. How can I set up email forwarding to the BlackBerry?

According to BlackBerry, Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2007email accounts are not supported for integration with Blackberry Internet Service (BIS), as OWA 2003 is the highest supported version. BlackBerry recommends setting up a forwarding rule. How do I do this?

would it not be easier to setup your hotmail account to directly forward to your blackberry instead of going to outlook then to the blackberry? If that is not possible then you should be able to create a rule that says any email being sent to johndoe@hotmail.com forward a copy to johndoe@blackberry.com. The hotmail address would have to be in your personal contact list though.

You might also be able to use Blackberry’s “Desktop Redirector” tool. It installs locally and runs along side MS Outlook. The only problem is, that PC has to have Desktop Redirector and Outlook open and running all the time to do this.
