How can I see what users are connected to my wireless network? I am running a sonicwall tz170 for wireless connectivity. Is there a place I can see which machines are connected? Host name and dynamic IP? Can I export this information as well?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

For the SonicWALL TZ170, you can get the info you’re looking for right from the wireless router’s log.

From the web admin page, go to Log / Categories and make sure that 802.11 Management is checked off – this will log all Wi-Fi connection events. You may also want to check off the DHCP Client category – this will show you the IP address assigned to each successfully-connected wireless client.

To see these logged events, just go to Log / View. You can “export” this info by generating reports – go to Log / Reports – or you can have the logged emailed periodically to you by configuring Log / Automation. If you want something more sophisticated, you can also set up an external SYSLOG server to receive and store logged events.
