Change your password to nothing. So you just have to press enter to get to the desktop. There is a change password button when you press CTRL+ALT+DELETE.

Of course you have to KNOW the current password in order to change it to something else…

There’s a software application called ERD commander, it’ll help you remove the password. boot up from the disc
follow the prompts. if you happen to get a 2003 version or later, you can remove or reset windows 2003 passwords
well. hope this helps

Make sure the computer is not a member of a domain or under Group Policy, or else, it will prevent it to remove the password.

Hi there, I am assuming you are already in the system and simply want to remove the password, as opposed to being locked out and wanting to remove the password, correct? Please be as specific about the problem as you can so your peers can better help you. Thanks, Jenny Community Manager

Is this your system? Have you gotten in before? Is this server on a domain? Do you have authorized access to it?

If you have a bootable CD/USB drive, some password tools can be burn to it and you can boot your computer from USB to run the software,so that you can recover/remove WIndows system password from USB. Such as Windows Password Rescuer, here I just list the simple steps: Step 1: Download and installed Windows Password Rescuer. Step 2: Run it to burn to bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive Step 3: BIOS setting of your locked computer to boot form CD or USB Step 4: Reset Windows password on a friendly window after Windows Password Rescuer starts. You also can use Windows Password Rescuer to add a new user with administrator privilege to your Windows. With this New user account you can logon your locked computer directly.

Hi, Your question is incomplete, Did you forget admin as well as user profile password ? If you have access of administrator account then you can reset your user profile with the help of admin account. But if you forget both password then you need to use some windows password recovery software to reset your password.
