I need to migrate about 200 users that are on a workgroup to a domain. I would like to NOT have to retype ANYTHING. Help please.

I don’t see any other way. 200 users in a workgroup meaning they all have individual logons to their workstations, you have no central store of users. That must be nightmare – how did it get to so many and in a workgroup?

You can do bulk import once you prepare your list into Active Directory, check this link out for more info presuming you are using AD

You can save some keystrokes by using any one of the various tools and utilities for performing bulk imports into Active Directory as outlined previously. Performing a clean break is the best solution,. You may be able to transfer some local user profile settings if absolutely necessary using Windows Easy Transfer http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928634 or similar method. My advice is to take this as an opportunity to create a pristine environment and manage it correctly from the start. Do not migrate users on to it until it is ready from an operational standpoint.
