How can I manage flat file to load using external tables as we are getting file every two hrs with timestamp?
Hi, We are running DB Loader as it's checking every two hrs and if it's gets new file then it's running to load data as the procedure is in JAVA but i am planning to use External tables in Oracle 9i but my question is that How can I manage flat file to load using external tables as we are getting file every two hrs with timestamp? example: emp_102904.txt is the first file then I am going to get same file as emp_102904_1400.txt then after 2 hrs might be a emp_102904_1600.txt, Is it i need to recreate every time my external tables? Thanks in advance for any kind of help!
