That&#039;s contradictory. If you put it into a report and left-justify, it &lt;STRONG&gt;will be&lt;/STRONG&gt; character.

The &quot;left-justify&quot; implies suppressing leading zeros. As soon as you do that, you must convert to characters. And if you want to keep leading zeros, then there is no need to &quot;left-justify&quot;.

Please show examples of values, and show how you want those examples to print.
