Hello, i have a problem trying to connect our DB2 Database. I use DECS administrator to set up a connection-document to our AS400. To set up a connection-document i've used the instruction from IBM (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/db2/library/techarticle/dm-0408gupta/index.html) When clicking on Name (under Table selection) i recieve this error: "error: cannot open file, Connector 'order', Method -SetProperty-" I think that the program cannot find the DB2 Database. Probably is the explanation from IBM that the domino-server and the DB2-server are running on the same machine? Our Dominoserver is not running on the same server as our AS400. How can i connect to the BD2 Database using DECS or is there an other way to create a connection between DB2 and Lotus Notes without using odbc or LEI?

Hello,

On the AS/400, use the WRKRDBDIRE command to get a list of configured
RDBs. Locate the RDB entry in the list with *LOCAL remote location and
use option 5 (Display). If the remote location type is *IP, the port
number should be shown. If the port shown is *DRDA, it is using 446.
