How Backup exec 12.5 can use equallogic snapshot service
EqualLogic Auto Snapshot Manager, Backup Exec 12.5, Backup Exec, EqualLogic
How I can get transportable snapshots created by Dell/EqualLogic Auto Snapshot manager to be used by Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 for backing up our data. I am looking for procedure that can help me in this issue. I looked on Symantec and Dell site but can’t find anything on it.

@Jasvaran, the following Tech Report on "Configuring Off-host Backups with Backup Exec and Dell EqualLogic" should answer your questions. The process discussed here includes the use of EqualLogic Auto-Snapshot Manager/Microsoft Edition for the VSS functions while Symantec Backup Exec controls the snapshot and restores.

You may need to register for it, or if you're an existing customer, you can just login to the site.
