I've been asked if I can extract Sametime messages and then archive them to a recods management system.
How are the messages stored, assuming the customer has opted to save them? If they are stored in an Oracle, MSSQL or MySQL database, I can probaby extract them easily. If they are stored in a proprietary file, I might have a challenge. Perhaps there is an API woth an export option. Does the version matter?
I'd appreciate any tips or experience in this! I'm good with APIs, integration and databases but have never seen or used Sametime so don't know what to ask to get the best answers and help. Regards,
