When I make a meeting in Outlook 2007 I am listed as the meeting organizer. This did no occur in Outlook 2003 and I would like to hide it. Can it be done?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Unfortunately there isn’t any way to hide this in outlook 2007. Read this article for more details. Look under the heading “Frequently Asked Questions about the Calendar”.

Users may not like change but they love efficiency. Showing the meeting organizer on a calendar view is inefficient and clutters up the screen. You tend to miss important things because you cannot see past the meeting organizer tags. In a busy CEO's diary, their PAs name can be tagged across 80% of the meetings. What is the purpose of this? This is just technical graffiti. You need to fix this and fast!
